Temperament

Health

Prone to brachycephalic issues (breathing difficulties), eye problems, spinal issues, and heat sensitivity. They need regular grooming, careful exercise, and must be kept cool in warm weather.

Care Tips

  • Coat & Grooming: Brush their long double coat several times a week to prevent matting; clean face folds and eyes regularly to avoid infections.
  • Breathing & Heat Care: Keep them in a cool environment and avoid overexertion, as their flat face makes them prone to breathing issues and heatstroke.
